Brentford B have added exciting young forward Jayden Meghoma to their ranks, subject to international clearance.

The 19-year-old joins the Bees from non-league side Sutton Common Rovers, where he scored 15 goals in 18 appearances this season.

Meghoma is a highly-rated prospect who has represented England at youth level.

He is expected to go straight into the Brentford B squad and could make his debut in the Premier League 2 Division 2 clash with Crystal Palace on Monday night.

Brentford B coach Neil MacFarlane said: "Jayden is a player we have been tracking for a while and we are delighted to have been able to bring him to the club.

"He is a quick, skilful forward who has a good eye for goal.

"We believe he has the potential to be a valuable asset to our squad and we are looking forward to working with him."

Meghoma is the second signing Brentford B have made this summer, following the arrival of goalkeeper Luke Daniels.

The Bees are looking to build on a successful season which saw them finish fourth in Premier League 2 Division 2.
